Apex: Senior Graphic Design BFA Exhibition

“Apex: the pinnacle of our creativity, solution-oriented thinking, and visual finesse. Like letter strokes converging in typography, we collaborated in pursuit of impactful design. From this high vantage point, we celebrate how far we have come and contemplate how far we will go.”

Apex reflects the collaborative spirit of my class and our shared drive to bring a final project to life. The exhibition included invitations, posters, Instagram promotion, space layout, and title wall installations. From January through March 2023, we worked together to showcase the accomplishments of our senior class and celebrate three years in the Graphic Design BFA program at Western Michigan University.

My main contributions focused on planning the exhibition space, including floor and wall layouts, arranging everyone’s work, and shaping the overall look of the show before setup began. I also helped with hands-on tasks like hanging artwork, painting walls and pedestals, and working closely with classmates to make sure every part of Apex came together successfully.
